The show in the Bronx represented the Beatle's third official concert in the New York area in just 24 months, including another iconic stop at The Apollo, reports the New York Daily News.
The ex-Beatle thrilled the crowd with the psychedelic bauble 'Hello Goodbye', before moving swiftly into the far more brisk Wings' hit 'Junior's Farm'.
His performances swung from 'All My Lovin' to 'Drive My Car' and included hits like 'Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five' and 'Let Me Roll It'.
The star offered a rare new song in 'The Fireman', which earned its place with anthemic chorus.
He even performed one of the band's tunes he claimed he had not played live earlier: 'The Night Before'.
